Post Production Services (Mark Waters)
In 1972 Mark Waters established Post Production Services (PPS) a film editing company based in Crows Nest Sydney. The company serviced organisations such as the ABC, Film Australia, AFTRS, SBS, Chnl’s 7, 9, 10, advertising agencies and commercial production companies. Leading a team of eleven people Mark Waters developed PPS into a tape based video editing/production facility with broadcast online, offline, 3D animation and audio re-recording. Times and technology have changed and Mark now runs a much downsized operation and, trading as Allmedia Production, continues to enjoy writing, producing, directing and editing.
Gunston’s Australia
Embracing both post production and production Mark was the Associate Producer and Post Production Supervisor for Channel 7 'Gunston's Australia', a fourteen week nation wide shoot. PPS post produced 8x30mins comedy shows.
King Gee Overalls.
In 1979 Mark Waters was awarded the advertising 'Craft Award' for editing King Gee Overalls 'Bridge'
